Dinner Time!

Well, I just got home from shopping for a few hours and now its time to make supper. My little girl has had a friend stay all night for the last two nights so now we're back to just us. I think I'll make some Chicken Parmesan and Cesaer Salad tonight. My husband loves to have suppper ready and on the table as soon as he gets home from work. So, I try to oblige. He works long and hard and so I feel like he deserves that much. Gotta Run!

I got some really incredible news last week. One of my dearest friends in the whole world found out she is pregnant. She and her husband have been married for 9 years. She just turned 30 this year. Needless to say we are all extremely joyous at this occasion.

My kids and I are having a great summer together! I mean we have been to the park, rode our bikes around the bike route, taken several trips out of state, and just had lots of fun together. We'll be going out of town this weekend to Ohio. Then that will give me one week to get ready for my part in decorating for VBS at my church. Then the following week we will be making one more trip out of town before school starts. So being busy has helped this summer fly by!

Well, my husband just got home and I haven't seen him all day! See ya later!

Wow, have I had a wild and crazy weekend. I took my kids from Sunday school to the Lazy 5 ranch on Friday. It was a very interesting adventure! We took the horse and wagon across the park and got to feed pretty much any animal close by. It was great for my kids, ages 6-8. The giraffes were right there, I mean we not only fed them but we got to pet them too. That was probably my favorite part. Then after the ride we had a picnic. The kids wolfed down their food in order to play on the playground. When I asked my 4 yr old little girl what her favorite part of the ranch was she said, 'playing on Noah's Ark.' She was refering to the large wooden boats on the playground. I guess ya never know with little ones. Well, speaking of little ones I really need to check on mine.
